Welcome to Birmingham Candles — a veteran-owned candle company proudly based in Columbus, Mississippi.

My name is Brandon Birmingham, and alongside my incredible wife Blair, I handcraft every candle we offer. What began as a hands-on hobby rooted in curiosity and creativity quickly grew into a purpose-driven business built on precision, discipline, and family values.

As a veteran, structure, consistency, and attention to detail are second nature to me. Candle making turned out to be the perfect intersection of science and creativity — a true lab-style process where exact measurements, controlled testing, and refinement make all the difference.

At Birmingham Candles, every candle is:

We intentionally use a high-quality parasoy wax blend because it provides the best balance of smooth finishes, strong fragrance performance, and a clean, even burn. Every material we select is chosen for reliability and performance — no shortcuts, no mass production.

Custom-Formulated Fragrance Blends

One of the things that truly sets Birmingham Candles apart is our scent creation process.

I personally develop every fragrance blend using carefully selected fragrance oils. Each scent is tested, adjusted, and refined through multiple burn trials until it delivers the right depth, balance, and projection.

We don’t rely on generic, pre-mixed formulas. Every fragrance is custom-formulated in-house — measured precisely and built with intention.
